Frequently asked

The questions clients actually ask, answered plainly. If yours is not here, email studio@architcept.com and we will get back to you.

Pricing & payment

How is the price calculated?
Every package has a flat rate per square foot. Enter the size of each floor or space in the configurator and the total updates live, so you see the exact price before you pay anything. Add-ons are priced as a percentage of that area price, which means they scale with your project instead of adding a flat surprise at the end.
What does the 50% deposit cover?
The deposit reserves your slot and starts production. It is half of the total, charged via secure PayPal when you send your request. The remaining balance is due after you review the watermarked file, before any changes are made and before we release the final deliverables.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments run through PayPal, which accepts PayPal balance and debit or credit cards in most regions. You can pay with a card without creating a PayPal account. We never ask for bank details directly and we never store your payment information on our side.
Is the deposit refundable?
Before production begins, let us know and we will work with you on it. Once production is underway the deposit applies to the work already done. If something changes before we start building, just email studio@architcept.com and we will sort it out fairly.

Revisions & corrections

How many revisions are included?
Revisions within your configured scope are built into the price, not bolted on after. You have a 6-week window from initial delivery to request them. That includes changes that come back through county or permit review, so the set can actually get approved without extra cost.
What happens after the 6-week revision window?
If a project is reopened after 6 weeks, a 10% re-opening fee applies to reallocate resources back to your work. It keeps our schedule honest for everyone and covers the time we set aside again for you.
What if I need something outside what I configured?
Extra renders, an added floor or space, a different VR platform, or a new area of the building are handled as add-ons using the same percentage model. Every scope change is quoted and confirmed in writing before we proceed, so you always know the price of a change before it happens.

Turnaround & delivery

How long does a project take?
Base turnaround depends on the package, and every package offers a faster tier for +15% of the area price. You can see both options in the configurator before you commit. We confirm your scope within 24 hours of payment, then production starts.
What file formats do I receive?
Renders are delivered as high-resolution image files at the resolution included in your package (2K or 4K). Permit-Ready documentation is delivered in PDF and DWG. If you add source files, we deliver the Unreal project. You always receive clean, watermark-free files once the balance is paid.
How do I get my files?
We send the complete watermarked file for your review first. After you approve it and the balance is settled, we release the final watermark-free deliverables in the agreed formats by download link or cloud drive.

VR & walkthroughs

What VR hardware do I need?
It depends on the platform you choose. PCVR runs from your own PC with a compatible VR headset. Standalone runs entirely on the headset itself and requires a Meta Quest 3. Both are real-time, controller-based, and priced the same.
What is the difference between the video walkthrough and VR?
A video walkthrough is a rendered flythrough clip of about 60 to 90 seconds, great for marketing and socials. VR is an interactive, first-person experience you control in real time with a headset, which is the stronger tool for pre-leasing, sales, and investor confidence.

Getting started

What do I need to get started?
A short brief and the size of each floor or space. Floor plans, sketches, or photos help a lot when you have them. Files up to 3MB attach directly; anything bigger just needs a Google Drive or Dropbox link in your brief.
Do I need an architect already?
No. Many clients come to us with plans, sketches, or just an idea. If you do have an architect or engineer, we can run a coordination pass with them as an add-on so the set lines up with their work.
Can you handle multi-tenant buildings or custom scopes?
Yes. If your project does not fit one of the standard packages, tell us what it is and we will scope it for you using the same percentage model.

Still have a question?

Tell us the project and we will scope it, or start with the package that fits.
